Hey everyone, the response to the Dominator 3 Models was INSANE, and we’re very thankful for that, but there were a few hiccups.  Here’s what we know and what we’re doing about it.

The Problem - The Rush on the Founders - The biggest thing that happened for a lot of folks was that the store page seemed to freeze at “Going Live any Moment”, and by the time it was live, all the Founders Editions were sold out.  No, this was not a bot farm or someone buying 50 of them, this really was the response (and thanks very much!).

What We’re Doing - The original 50 will stay Series 1, numbered 1-50, but we will be doing a Founders Series 2 in response to the issues and demand.  Series 2 will be slightly different from the initial one in order to be faithful to the first run.  But also we feel we need to do this to be fair to all the folks who did everything right and were still shut out of a Founders Edition because of a site error.  

We’re aware that people bought the Standard but only as a consolation, so we think it’s fair that the folks who ordered the Standard on Nov 4th have the first shot at the Founders Series 2.  We will work out a system, it might be a google form that needs filling out by a certain date.  After that date passes, it’s open season on Series 2.  More on that once we figure it out.  



The Problem - Wrong Shipping Dates Shown - Even though we pretty prevalently had “This is a pre-order product, Shipping Begins the week of Nov 23…”, many people saw shipping dates shown on checkout and on their Order Email confirmations guessing  that their item will arrive around November 13th.  This is wrong and we’re sorry to those of you who might’ve gotten your hopes up.  The text on the store listing itself is still accurate “Shipping begins the week of November 23.  Orders will be shipped in the Order they are received.  We will be shipping from our warehouse in Oklahoma, orders will be sent out quickly once shipping begins."

What We’re Doing - We’ve found the source of the fake shipping dates and have fixed them.



The Problem - LOTS of Orders and Everyone wants it before Christmas - On the store listing page, we say “The First 150 Standard Edition are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas.  We’ll do our best to get as many as possible done, but to have the best chance, order quickly!”.  But there were so many orders so fast that only people in the first few minutes had that Christmas guarantee.

What We’re Doing - WE ARE GOING FULL SEND and are getting SEVERAL more printers, which will allow us to deliver lots, lots more before Christmas.  We’ll continue to communicate on this, and come up with a system to let you know when to expect yours more accurately.
